Alex McAulay

Alex McAulay (born January 20, 1977 in Seattle, Washington) is an American novelist. He is the author of Shelter Me, Oblivion Road, Lost Summer, and Bad Girls, all released by MTV and Pocket Books.[1] Alex lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife Lisa and their daughter.

Under the name "Charles Douglas," Alex has recorded four indie-rock albums, including "The Lives of Charles Douglas" which features Maureen Tucker from The Velvet Underground on drums, and "Statecraft" with Joey Santiago from The Pixies on guitars.[2]
